Building AI Systems That Adapt and Endure

Our mission is to make AI integration practical, accessible, and sustainable for organisations across Malaysia.

Our Story

Lattiq was founded in early 2024 in response to a growing pattern we observed: organisations investing substantial resources into AI implementations that were either abandoned after pilots or locked into rigid vendor dependencies. We saw educational institutions struggling to deploy accessible AI tools, and businesses building systems that could not evolve with rapid technology changes.

The name "Lattiq" reflects our core philosophy. Like the interconnected root systems of mangrove forests that create resilient ecosystems capable of adapting to changing tides, we believe AI implementations should be built on foundations that can flex, evolve, and withstand change. Our approach emphasises modularity, portability, and organisational capability development over vendor lock-in or rigid architecture.

Based in Kota Kinabalu, we serve clients throughout Malaysia, working with both commercial organisations and educational institutions. Our team brings together expertise in AI implementation, accessibility design, and organisational change management. We understand that successful AI integration requires more than technical capability—it demands clear communication, realistic planning, and sustainable implementation approaches.

We believe AI integration should be approached with humility and pragmatism. Technology changes rapidly, vendor landscapes shift, and regulatory requirements evolve. Our services help organisations build the capability to navigate these changes independently rather than relying on consultants indefinitely. When an engagement ends, you retain both the implementation and the knowledge to maintain and evolve it.

Our Standards

Professional principles that guide how we approach AI integration engagements.

Data Privacy

All client data remains confidential. We sign NDAs as standard, maintain secure communication channels, and follow Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act requirements throughout engagements.

Thorough Documentation

Every engagement produces comprehensive documentation including rationale for recommendations, implementation guides, and evaluation frameworks. You retain full ownership and understanding.

Vendor Neutrality

We maintain independence from technology vendors and do not receive commissions. Our recommendations are based solely on your requirements and long-term sustainability.

Accessibility Compliance

All recommendations align with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and inclusive design principles, ensuring implementations serve diverse user needs from the outset.

Collaborative Approach

Engagements involve your team throughout. We conduct workshops, provide training, and ensure knowledge transfer so internal capability grows alongside technical implementation.

Measurable Outcomes

Every engagement defines clear success criteria upfront. We establish evaluation methods and decision points before implementation begins, not after.

Our Approach to AI Integration

Artificial intelligence offers substantial opportunities for organisations willing to integrate thoughtfully. However, rushing into implementation without clear objectives or sustainable architecture often leads to wasted investment and abandoned projects. Our approach centres on helping organisations build AI capability methodically, with realistic timelines and achievable outcomes.

We specialise in three interconnected areas: designing focused pilot programmes that test hypotheses before full commitment, ensuring AI tools deployed in education remain accessible to diverse learners, and creating operational frameworks resilient enough to adapt as technology and regulations evolve. Each service addresses a specific gap we have observed in how organisations typically approach AI adoption.

For businesses and educational institutions in Malaysia, AI integration requires navigating technical complexity alongside organisational change. Systems must respect data privacy requirements under local regulations, accommodate diverse user needs in multilingual environments, and remain adaptable as both technology capabilities and vendor landscapes shift. We help organisations build these considerations into their approach from the beginning rather than addressing them retrospectively.

Successful AI implementation depends more on clarity than complexity. Understanding what problem you are solving, what success looks like, and how you will measure outcomes matters more than selecting the most advanced technology. Our engagements focus on establishing this clarity first, then building implementation approaches that your team can execute and maintain independently once the engagement concludes.
